OMSI 2 | Wright StreetDeck First Look & Drive | Cotterell, Route U18: University to Cotterell

A surprise announcement last night saw the highly anticipated release of the Wrightbus Streetdeck Addon this morning! A hefty pricetag** but well worth it for the quality of the Addon; with a number of future updates in the pipeline, including opentop and London variants. There are a few issues at the moment, such as a lack of announcements and standing passengers. You may also notice that the engine sounds and barely audible from inside the bus, but hopefully all the problems will be ironed out in due course.
** A free demo version of the Streetdeck will be available to download later today via Steam. I will post the link here later once it is available.

@@danworthington7605 that's with the Bus Company Simulator Addon for OMSI which is available via steam. If you only want the map and no other hud, you can just get 'omninav' alone which is a good bit cheaper: pedepe.de/omninavigation/index.php?lang=en

Wearside Transport Oo didn’t know the streetlight/masterlite was going to have a lhd variant! I’ll definitely be making a repaint for Berlin if no one else does. I wish this masterbus gen 3 had a lhd variant too

11:32 you have a problem. I never see these icons when driving one of these, first it's a warning, then red, then alarms at around 6at. The problem with these buses is that they are underpowered and change gear too much. I drove the Gemini 2 and that was a far better bus. I'm guessing you don't really drive a bus, just a sim here? Why is there no "standing capacity" here? That person that pressed the blue button, I just go to the next stop, the doors were open for long enough.

Andy Pardy it is indeed. It comes with Bus Company Simulator (see top of screen) but I ended up buying omninav separately in order to add my own maps

LondonBuses 54 basically, the button you use to steer left and the button you use to steer right can be held simultaneously. This locks the steering wheel in position until you release a button. Once you get used to that it’s much smoother

What doesn't work exactly? When you try open it, did you select 'load without buses' first? If it doesn't work, perhaps try re-installing it

@@Lukeo it's not that it's that when I'm in the main menu it shows my other maps but Cottrell doesn't even show up. I check my Cottrell folder and everything is there. I don't know what to do. And also if u don't mind can you recommend me some other maps

Luca ahh I see.. to me that would suggest you downloaded it in the wrong location. Is there a Cotterell folder in OMSI 2/Maps ? I’d say just redownload cotterell again and try again

If you look at a list of all my videos you’ll see all the maps I use 😆. Yorkshire is my favourite atm, also Buses of the Westcountry (BoTW). Scunthorpe is decent but can be laggy at times. I also like the Hongkong West Kowloon map, but that can be very laggy sometimes too. For lhd, they’re all payware really but Rheinhausen, HafenCity and Berlin X10 are my top 3. Winsenburg is a good free one, but I’m not sure if it’s available to download anymore as it’s a bit old

Donnes 78 I have my target fps set to 30, so usually about 25-30. My PC is a little better than average though.

Mr Burns I get like 40-45 fps on the coterell route sometimes even 60fps but that's in the London city bus 400 and my pc is low end - I have a built in GT750M and an i5-4th gen 2.9Ghz
