Love the video! We have a question. Did you have any trouble connecting to the laser thru usb c cable to laptop?
@Peachycreations2 ай бұрын
Thank you! Yes at one point I did, where the GCODE would show " Waiting for connection" despite adding the device and connecting successfully. Make sure you are using the right cord that came with the device, not an extension cord. Trial different USB ports on the laptop. Make sure you check with COM port you are choosing; whether its COM1 or COM4 etc. Try removing the device in the software, closing the program, unplugging and shutting everything off, and reconnecting and adding the device again. There can be instances where some laptop USB point just wont accept the device. But try all of the above first before changing computers

Hi, what do you set your milliamp dial to on the control panel please?
@PeachycreationsАй бұрын
Hey! I set it to the highest max. You will get the best cutting results with it there

Great video!! looking at this and the polar. would this be able to cut 5mm acrylic at all?
@Peachycreations2 ай бұрын
The K40+ with acrylic has a max depth of 3mm thick to cut, which works well for me as a hobbyist And the Polar goes up to 10mm thick in acrylic cutting depth, so definitely the polar for much deeper applications ☺️

@@Peachycreations I've had my k40+ for about 6 months now and I cut 6mm acrylic every day with no issues.
