I hope when you used that sandpaper on the stainless steel you were wet sanding with 1200, or 2000 grit paper. If you had scratches left on the piece then I'd say it was likely you had to coarse a grit.

The small red dot laser is for marking your focal lenght, so that you dont have to meassure on the ruler all the time, if set correctly once, the two dots will always connect at the correct focal lenght.

use 3 pens for hatching different speeds and powers, then u must grease and use a polishing machine -your friendly neighborhood jeweller

I hope this is a joke. If not, I hope OMTECH didn’t really put their name on this. This is full of misinformation. So you’re saying there’s 2 focal points? Rotary and flat? What if I do a random little box? If it’s focused, it won’t be blurry for the record. You can cut through the whole stainless whatever with no blur if your lens is in focus. That’s why it’s a focal lens. It wasn’t due to the cat hair you should have blown off with air before the whole alcohol thing. Your gonna have people ruin their lasers. Ridiculous. OMTECH, I have 2 of your lasers. WTH are you thinking with this mess?
