Fritz Loewe had retired and Alan Jay Lerner was in a kind of limbo when he wrote this wistful lyric. Lerner wept when Burton Levy played his melody on the piano, a perfect marriage of music and words. The writers would be very happy with this arrangement and Sinne's scat and phrasing.

THIS SONG REMINDS ME OF A MOVIE I SAW WAY BACK WHEN I WAS A YOUNG GIRL. IT WAS NAME, IT WAS NAME IN A CLEAR DAY WE CAN SEE TOMORROW. THIS SONG MAKES MY DAY. THANKS TO THE MUSICIANS AND THE BEAUTIFUL LADY, SINGER, SINNE Eeg.
