Great video work of the train ride up the mountain and well done Antoine on videoing your self on the scree slope as you shot the 4x5 as those loose rocks tumbled down in front of you. 😲 Your hard work shooting and editing this videos is appreciated. I liked the tease of the image of the building at the top of the mountain, I thought, wow, that is so grainy and low quality, so unlike your work, until you panned out of the cropped view, then panned out again! 😂😁 Wonderful photographs.

Hi Damian, the building was far away and it is very small on the picture. That's why it's so grainy. Thanks for your comment.

@@antoinedombois Yes the building was very, very far away, I was not criticising your work at all, I liked the way you presented the photo, so close up before revealing the complete image. 🙂

De très jolies photos, Antoine, et cela dans un terrain assez instable, paraît-il. J'ai été surtout impressionné par les résultats obtenus avec l'objectif à 150 mm. Merci infiniment.

Bonjour Antoine. I received my 45F-2 a couple of months ago, and cannot wait to try it out. I am wondering if you have your prints for sale. I would love to have one or two from Chamonix. Hopefully there are more videos in the pipeline.

Hi Jeff, by now I don't intend to sell prints. Enjoy your 45 f2 and show us your work 🙂

I'm enjoying your videos , you have big video sections between shots , it would be good if you spoke about your metering and development in the films to add value to the experience as a viewer Love the high contrast you get with fp4 red filter , what development do you do ? Thanks
@antoinedombois2 жыл бұрын
Hi Austen, I will try to talk about metering in the next videos . I am doing a normal development with Ilford products . I can deal with contrast in post when scanning or play with the filters with Ilford multigrade paper in the darkroom. Thanks for your comment.😃

Hi Alejandro. I was using a 150mm Rodenstock Sironar and a 300mm Nikkor . Thanks for your comment.

Bonjour Antoine, vous développer / tirer par vous même ou confier vos plans films à un labo?
@antoinedombois2 жыл бұрын
Bonjour Ivan.

Get a sony A7r iii and use DXO silver efex pro 3 and you will get same results with alot less going thru all that 4x5 stuff.

Hi, I actually own a Sony A7r iii. I find it more fun with the 4x5 camera. It's a different experience, that's all.
@califmike2003 Жыл бұрын
@@antoinedombois completely understand I used to be in love with the 4x5 and film I don't enjoy the process anymore I'm looking for simpler and less expensive.
