Exactly, both rich and poor men have the capacity to abuse and unfortunately both groups do so at an alarming rate. There are reasons to not date transactionally but this argument isn't one of them.

If a person happens to find a mate outside their race as a serendipitous matter of common circles and interests, that's one thing. But when a person seeks to marry outside their race because "the men of my race are all bad" or "the women of my race are all bad," that's emotional damage that they're just foisting on someone who isn't also damaged.

All relationships are transactional, the goal should be to find one that is not JUST transactional. In order to do that, you have to really know YOU and what you need/want/what is important/ and in what order. When most people do that work, race is not that high up, it's just a preferred packaging.

My mother once told me "The man that you need is a totally different person from the man that you want", Very few women today realize this and thus why they make poor choices when it comes to men.

Dating a Korean man now and I appreciate that I can be my full self with him. For some reason I’ve never felt comfortable to be my complete weird self with Black men although I’m most attracted to Black men. Having dated men of different races, if I ever found myself single again not sure I would return to Black men unfortunately

I'm a BM and my personality type is unorthodox compared to the norm that BP are portrayed to be, I'm into Anime, Video Games, traveling, and sports and I am more attracted to BW. I find in order to find someone you can truly connect with you have to change the circle of people you associate with. Last year, I went to an comic-con event and I saw a few BW there who had the same interest I have. I would never find that type of BW by going to a night club or a bar.

The marriage discussion is really cultural. Can you expect to get married in a place where marriage isn’t valued? Especially in black Americans… I’m seeing more interracial relationships more than ever. It’s not surprising. 🤷🏾‍♀️ It has nothing to do with the value of black women.

@@kyrathedestroyer_ It’s lip service…. If men valued marriage they would be marrying. Believe it or not hook culture and playing the field is a direct example of not valuing marriage. Black women around the world enjoy the benefits of having a husband. Only about 30% of us get to be married. That’s clearly a cultural phenomenon. You see what people value daily…careers, earning money, and friendships. There definitely needs to be some cultural shift’s happening.

If you truly want marriage and a family, forget about race. Forget it. Women only have a certain amount of years to bear children and you don't want to waste those years waiting for the perfect man of __ race to come and choose you. Date the best man of every race who wants to date you.

@brandond1947 Statistically, black men date out of their race four times as much as black women. For the most part, Black men don't seem to have too many reservations about dating out of their race. Black women on the other hand are race loyal to the point of dying single and childless because they didn't find a black man. But yes, at the end of the date who wants to date you. Race doesn't matter.

BW have "evolved" passed BM? This is not even logical. Most people from stable communities are going to assume there's dysfunction in the home if the boys are consistently failing and this just make BW look bad as mothers. It's a narrative that's totally unnecessary so why go there? Don't be so dismissive of culture because most people prefer someone that they identify with culturally, this is not a black issue.
@Lala-eo4eq
@Lala-eo4eq 21 күн бұрын
There are stats that support this. Education rates, graduation rates, rate of black women entrepreneurs...take your pick. So funny how bw and bm can have the same “evil” black mom (no smoke for the most likely nonexistent dad unsurprisingly) and yet bw are still pursuing higher education and completing degrees at record rates compared to their counterparts even despite life circumstances they could be using as excuses. The typical excuses to rid bm of accountability like the blame on the black moms who stay and raise y’all is laughable at this point. No other race is experiencing such a disparity of women outperforming the men in this way and we as a whole seem to be unbothered by this or pretend it’s not happening. You may not like the word “evolve” but that doesn’t negate the truth.
@outdoorgq
@outdoorgq 21 күн бұрын
@@Lala-eo4eq Data does not support what you are saying. You clearly haven't looked at data so I won't waste my time with that, but I'll clear up something you seem to not understand. Education, money, etc., are means, not ends. if BW are doing as well as you say we should see black children outperforming other races of children in school, among other things. My original point was that a BW should highlight her positive attributes instead of comparing herself to men and talking negative about men if she's trying to maximize success while dating. I'm not sure why any BW would disagree with this.
@deadcell1
@deadcell1 20 күн бұрын
@@Lala-eo4eq Your statement is conjecturous. The education desparity between men and women is happening across all racial groups, not just BM. Also, since you want to go there BW do indeed hold the most degrees but also are the most indebted women across all racial groups. On average, BW also earn less than AW and WW, they are the largest group of women who fall into poverty in their golden years, have the lowest marriage rate and the highest divorce, the highest mental illness rate, and the highest crime rate amongst their female counterparts. You want to parade BW as being far superior than BM but despite all your advancements you still fall behind other racial groups of women in this country. That's not something to celebrate.

Lol...."evolved passed BM". Bro is projecting. Alot of LGBT Men do not like straight black men. Because lets be honest 95% of straight BM are not feeling the LGBT community unless it involves a threesome with women 2 girls one guy.. These are the men that bullied them in high school and beyond. So obviously they are going to feel a way about straight BM.

Total BS. Tons of black women date out with no backlash. The reality is non-black men don't approach black women nearly as much as black men. Black women act like they don't have dates with Brad because Tyrone either scared Brad off or shamed Keisha when he saw her with Brad. The reality is Keisha didn't go out with Brad because Brad likes Becky and Mai Ling.

Black women have spent a long time telling Brad she don't want him. The "nothing but a black man for me" trope. So she's going to have to work hard to drop her guard and let him know she's interested. Just like Asian women have, they don't keep it a secret.😊
