This is why I was nervous about Halle and DDG dating lol relationship/prank youtubers are a different breed of drama. Their entire identities become views and engagement. It seemed like a mismatch but I thought they looked cute together. Now I’m hoping the breakup rumors are true 😅.

I agree, but the influence came TV. We have watched Jerry springer drama, we watched Maury, we watched love and hiphop drama ect. Drama brings the ratings and viewers no mater how sad and sickening it is. I hope they all are seeking therapy behind lights camera action disrespect, degrading content.

I actually like Ekane but I also like her enough that I want her to delete all her social media and heal and leave Chris alone. I kinda feel bad for her… she was just a kid when she met him. Now her whole life revolves around him. She’s pretty and talented and clearly she’s likable enough to have insane fans. There’s more out there for her

i’ve personally seen many people be in violent relationships and be back together fine the next day. so to me, ekanes behavior and their relationship as a whole isn’t unrealistic. just in her case she knows it can be exploited for views and therefore money. i really liked this video, i just also think the harsh reality of toxic relationships is a bit lost here. generational trauma plays a big part and repeating unhealthy cycles seen in childhood is a main factor in my opinion. not everyone has “healthy”, for lack of better term, people around them to confide in

I disagree that a relationship cannot have two abusers. It’s not victim blaming to discuss the evolution of intimate partner violence/domestic abuse. Violence in relationships are more complicated than the traditional “battered woman trope” This E.Kane sounds very abusive and predatory to men despite her history of suffering abuse. It seems as if she now has adopted the behaviors of her abusers. Also abuse towards men does not always resemble abuse towards women. I find all abuse disgusting but as a trained professional I recognize when a woman is abusing a man just like I can discern when a woman is being abused by a man… we need to discuss both aspects more because this generation is breeding abusers in both sexes and these relationships are so toxic because neither party is innocent or a pure victim… they both are harming each other and the true victims are the children and extended family members/society
