On board a Burnside Avenue bound R142A 5 train from Bowling Green to Burnside Avenue

Seen here is a ride on a 5 train, operated by R142A, bound for Burnside Avenue via Jerome Avenue Express.
Due to track replacement on most of the White Plains section, 5 train service was split into two sections:
1. Bowling Green and Burnside Avenue via the 4 line.
2. Eastchester-Dyre Avenue and East 180 Street.
Passengers who want service on most of White Plains Road would have to transfer at 149 Street-Grand Concourse for 2 train service to East 180 Street, where passengers would connect to the 5 train for continuing to Dyre Avenue.
I somehow was lucky to catch me an R142A on the 5, even though R142As don’t run on the 5 as per usual, unless it’s weekend work, and with weekend work means extra trains or need to borrow some since most of the section is closed for the weekend, thus leading to less R142 trains to be running on the 5. These R142As would be borrowed from the 4 line for situations like this, but only temporarily since it belongs to the 4 line.
There is no automated announcements of the 5 showing it’s going to Burnside Avenue, so the conductor left it as “149 Street-Grand Concourse “, although earlier it was showed as a 5 going to “East 180 Street”, even though the electronic strip maps are supposed to display “This map is not in use of service”, since it’s a loaner from the 4 line. Also, we went express from 167 Street to Burnside Avenue, to have 5 trains come into the middle track of the station, in order to leave from there and go back downtown via switching over south of Burnside Avenue. Passengers who needed local stops or continuing service to Woodlawn would have to change at 167 Street or at Burnside Avenue for a Woodlawn bound 4 train.
During this ride, there was a little incident of those subway surfing along the line, especially on top of the train during the express ride along Jerome Avenue. Please be considerate when riding the train, never surf the trains when it’s in motion, you can get hurt or killed during that moment. It didn’t affect the outcome of this ride since we were express towards Burnside Avenue, but please, do not ride surf on top of the train. It’s a dumb move and it can cost you your life, whether you say it’s fun, it’s stupid.
In the end, it made another trip out to Bowling Green, since that is the last stop on weekend 5 train service, leaving from the middle track at Burnside Avenue, switching over to the local track on the 4 line, going to its next stop which was 176 Street on the 4 train, but it didn’t have the automated announcements showing since the conductor was making the announcement along the way, but then they would have to make a train and conductor operator change at 149 Street-Grand Concourse to continue along the way.
