Bought my first pair of ON 2 days ago. A good bargain on the Drammen 1/2 marathon expo, and I've been curious about this brand for a while (Blummenfeldt run in ON, and he's fast!), and I could need a New Indoor pair fir the threadmill season. So, today I ran in these, Cloudsurfer next, on the 'mill, pretty slowpaced, ending with 5 faster paced strides. I tend to agree with your conclusions, and I believe some low threshhold/tempo sessions in these wouldn't be out of the question. But yes, they are definitely firmer than my favorite non plated shoes lately, NB4 and SB2. I ran the 1/2 in Superblast2, didn't aim for a PB, just having a good session at planned marapace (4:30/km) fitting in the trainingblock for Frankfurt marathon. And the feet after the half have been good as new🤩. What other ON shoes would you recommend? I've struggled with carbonplated shoes post plantar fascitis...

I've have about half a dozen On shoes and my favourite is the Cloudsurfer I bought last year, the first one in which they removed the Speedboard. I'm looking for to the Next as my next daily trainer.

How does this compares with New Balance 1080v13 or 880v14 ?
