+Jamie Frank It shouldn't be stupid to suggest a minimum wage required to live. Either way, California is already raising its minimum to $15 and it will have no issues. And selecting a president based on physical attributes? Are you fucking kidding me? He has more charisma and represents the country internationally more than every other candidate combined. Coward? Why would you say that. He continues to fight against the greatest odds all his life. He fought for the lives of others in the '70s and '80s. Hes a whole lot braver then someone who wants to build a wall and actually physically seclude America. If it's cowardly to try to improve the lives of the majority, then I don't want to live on this planet anymore.
@kelanbarr96468 жыл бұрын
***** He let the protesters on stage because he himself is non-violent. It's security's job to take care of security threats. If you're insinuating that he should have inspired the crowd to shut down the protesters, then that would be against the entire message of his campaign. As far as minimum wage goes, yes, increasing wage without decreasing or maintaining cost for business is only a short term benefit in the most part. You have to remember that people with higher wages pay more into private industry, so it's not a 1:1 wage:inflation issue. But Bernie Sanders is pushing even harder for single payer Healthcare, which, as a business owner, I can tell you would severely reduce the total capital losses induced by a 5 dollar wage increase. But arguing not to raise minimum to atleast 15 is ridiculous. Accounted for inflation, minimum wage has gone down and is lower now than it has been throught most of the 20th century. By 2020, a $15 minimum wage will still be less than the minimum wage in the 70s.

+john snow You illustrate an interesting point, a Bernie supporter who presumably won't vote for Clinton if she gets the nomination, and instead will stay at home. A contrast to viewers of Bill Maher, who will vote for Hillary if Bernie loses just because they falsely believe that Trump is a racist white heathen send straight from the rape dungeons of the patriarchy. Also you differ with those who simply don't want Clinton at all and will indeed prefer Trump to her since he is an outsider. I am indeed wondering, if the choice came between Cruz and Clinton, would you vote Clinton? The following months will be full of fascination, whether voters like you will be the roadblock to Clinton winning the POTUS. I mean a vote for Trump is two votes away from Clinton, and abstaining is one vote away from her.

+Alexandre Gareau I have become disenfranchised on Sanders on my own accord. I'm not a chump who jumps ship when I see one sinking. Sanders' has become too involved in the democratic party, too supportive of black lives matter and other fascist groups, and too interested in creating a welfare state. The media is correct though, Sanders cannot win. The writing is on the wall; superdelegates are a party tool to elect whom they want, and that candidate is Hillary Clinton.
***** I felt it was a lot more efficient than me just typing out a whole paragraph. Since, you want to initiate an argument but fail to engage by reading my evidence, I'll give a brief: Donald Trump says allowing the Muslim "refugees" to immigrate is a disaster waiting to happen. A myriad of empirical data proves that these Muslims are not integrating at all; consequently, they are creating no-go zones which are hotbeds of radicalization and promoting fundamentalist Islam/hatred of the West. Also, if you look up the demographic information of the prison systems in Spain, Brussels, France, Sweden, etc. you will find that Muslims, whom make up very small percentages of the population, overwhelmingly occupy the prisons for various crimes. To conceal failure of multiculturalism, political leaders are now ordering prisons to hinder the demographic statistics from reaching the public.

Always amazes me that people believe they are "entitled" to health care. Why?. Why is anyone entitled to the labour of another person?. Why should one person train at huge expense in a profession such as a doctor, or a researcher, for maybe 10 years of their life, for other people to then be entitled to the fruits of their labour?. Charity should take care of people that cannot afford healthcare, not the violence and force used to extract that care from others

At about the 10:00 minute mark Larry King spoke about a question he asked Donald Trump about illegal immigrants. How maybe a guy that came here 25 years ago has since made a success of himself, raised smart kids who are doing good things, etc., and he wanted to know if Trump would send such a man back to his country. He then said that Trump would have to think about it. This is actually a really good question. Let's change things a little bit. A man admits to robbing a bank 25 years ago. He has since become a very successful businessman with lots of people working for him. He has kids that are in Harvard and Princeton. He is known for his altruism. Etc., etc. So is all forgiven? Change it to he wrongly killed someone instead. So the question is really not that easy to answer. It sounds at first like yeah, of course he should be allowed to stay in the country. But then it gets tricky when you change the circumstances. They still hunt down Nazi war criminals. Is that right to arrest some guy in his 80s or 90s? I'm not saying yes or no. I'm saying that these are hard questions. In the latter case, yeah, they take these guys into custody. One could argue that they are not the same people they were back then. Same for a guy that killed someone 20 or 30 years ago or robbed a bank. Are we always responsible for past crimes? What if the person really, seriously changed? Or is a crime always a crime? If so, then does the crime of being an illegal alien deserve punishment many years later? What if the guy only worked at a car wash and couldn't claim to being a successful business man with great kids?

Why does King think that women won't vote for Trump? Seems like a pretty big leap to talk about half the population that way
@ValorWarrior52588 жыл бұрын
I am a woman, intelligent and have good common sense about things. I voted for Trump. And of all the millions of people who voted, to think that over half are NOT women, is not using common sense. Women of America that live out here in America, know the struggles of her family and community and common sense tells me no one else but Trump can be the common sense leader ALL Americans need.

"And of all the millions of people who voted, to think that over half are NOT women, is not using common sense." What do you mean by this? Roughly half the population is not female.

Now that Larry pointed it our, Trump is actually a very very interesting person. Berns isn't a socialist, democratic socialist however, now that's accurate.

What's the difference?
@linusorm8 жыл бұрын
Vaishnav Reddy Pardon me, It should be social democrat, not democratic socialism. Differences is that Socialism has two branches, one where the state owns everything produced, and one that allows privately owned businesses to occur. Social democrat is a lot like the second sort of socialism. In which the government supply the things that are critical for a acceptable life. Unemployment subsidies, "free" (tax payed) health care, "free" (tax payed) education etc. It does *not* correlate with communism, in which a tyrannical government own *everything*. That's where the US have made the word "Socialist" a perverse thing, if you're a social democrat or anything alike you're instantly bunched along the lines of Lenin, or Stalin. Which is stupid. People think i am biased now, I have a fucking commissar dog as a profile. Oh well.

England would not support Bernie, we voted in austerity, our prime minster is not a feminist. Half our media would laugh at him like Corbyn.

I disagree with the women's view. Women will vote for Trump big time.
