There will never ever be another artist who is talked about and missed like this almost 30 years after his death. This is why Pac is the greatest of all time.
@biged514928 күн бұрын
It will be another one because when I remember when Elvis died and he starred in a lot of movies and made a lot of records and years and years after his death they kept talking about this man and questioning his death and the same with Bob Marley I was 9 when he died and what's funny is that they talk about him so much that I knew who he was but I didn't hear his music until I was 17 now imagine if they had social media back then but I say this to say that every certain amount of years there is always this incredible artist that have a huge impact on the world but died young to the point that they have a Jesus aura about them to the masses and these 3 guys had it

I've heard a lot of people who knew Pac really well say the total opposite when it comes to the whole changing into Bishop thing. If anything, he brought elements of his own character to the character of Bishop but love you Dave, you have an amazing voice.

I'm always confused by the Tupac/Bishop dynamic.I hear some people say he was nothing like Bishop...But then Money B & Shock G, the two guys who knew him better than anybody, say he was always wild & crazy.I was just watching an interview with Money B.He was actually the first guy to audition for Juice.While reading over the script, he said the Bishop character reminded him of Tupac Which is why he recommended Tupac to audition.It's just confusing.

I think some ppl like Dave, if he even knew him like that. Use Bishop as if Pac thought his character was so G. he should be that. But Pac would never turn on the ppl he loved like that so it really doesn't make sense 🤷🏾♂️ basically they're reaching!!!!

Great interview. Respect dave alot. Pac my favorite artist, been riding with him since digital. This is just my outside opinion. I never felt pac portrayed bishop in real life. I can't see pac trying to kill his friends. Pac heart was to always try and help our people. That came from his black panther roots. Way before juice, people tell stories on how pac would love to fight and stand up to people and defend his friends. If you really think about it, that's how he died, defending a friend who chain got took. Dave said, who pac became. Who did he become? Seems like the same pac to me. Money B tell alot of stories about pac that contradict what dave said. Most people has two sides to them. I'll keep it real. I was different around certain people or environments and i did 10 years in the feds. I think we need to stop using juice as way to justify or don't justify tupac. Ice cube played doe boy, nobody says anything about that. We know cube was just a great artist.

If anybody body else played that part it would have been a different bishop. STOP THE CAP!!!

I've never seen 2Pac with Dave ever. Not saying he's a lier but come on now. Shock G always said Pac was always the same dude just enhanced once the money came. Bishop was just a character, if it wasn't in him already he couldn't conjure him up. 🤷🏾♂️

Man there's a level of cap to this story. I've never heard any of Tupac's true friends or close homies in Marin ever brings up Dave as this 5 year long friendship. The "He became Bishop" after Juice is such a overblown and debunked narrative. It literally only gets used by people who never actually knew him. Treach, Omar, Money B, Outlawz, etc. all say that is bullshit.... I'll take there word over a dude who did ONE song with him

2Pac didnt even grow up with his dad. He had a step dad, so is he saying his step dad was a confused clout chasing trigger happy teenager? 2Pac was affected by the politics of the industry, fake people both in the industry and in the streets, etc. He was affected by the world he was living and not knowing how to deal with it all. He was to authentic for this world. Theres plenty of ppl like that, who are very genuine and authentic in themselves and the world, along with with this society, is not built for people like that. You will somewhat suffer in this world for being that way, and he did.

The beat to No Diggity was initially given to 2Pac by Suge at a time when Dre was leaving Death Row. This song was originally intended for All Eyez On Me but Dre held off. Once Dre left Death Row he sold the beat to Blackstreet which lead to Toss It Up parodying the beat with many disses to Dre.

I see things a little different here, Dave is acting as if people don't grow and change. The Bishop character was an awaking for Pac to alot of ppl. You dont go from being a " School of the Arts" kid to yelling "Thug Life" overnight. Pac gradually adapted that life bc it was the only way ppl would respect him.
