I appreciate his perspective on his approach to the role in Fallout. It’s important to have a team that cares about the source material to create a faithful setting; but that’s not his job, he needs to focus on bringing his character to life.

This is exactly what I came here to say. So many years later after watching The Shield I would just randomly think about his character Shane. Not even necessarily key moments, but more just the feeling of the character generally. His perspective on not wanting to play stereotypical Southern roles as it sells out his heritage speaks to me on a deep level too. And that came through in his performances in The Shield, Justified, and many others.

I love him so much, such a versatile committed actor to his craft. Every single role he plays I'm just captivated by & hooked in each story and how Walton portrays them and their difficulties, wins and everything else is next to none. I'm so glad he's getting the recognition he deserves because it's a long time overdue.

The final scene of Justified is one of my all time favorite show endings. The closing of the story to bring it back around with Raylen and Boyd was absolutely perfect.

How is Venus not talked about? Venus was a light in every scene she was in on a very dark show, and was in one of the best scenes in the entire series.

Walton Goggins is one of barely a handful of actors that I can watch and truly feel like his characters are real. Jon Bernthal when he was getting tortured in punisher and Riz Ahmed when he is meeting Saw Gerrera in Rogue One gave me the same feelings. He is seriously underrated as an actor

I never thought he would surpass his roles in Hateful 8 and Justified, but Fallout just elevated his acting skills and passion for the script to the next level. I don't think a Fallout fan of 25 years could have fit the hardcore, gritty and witty western role into such a chaotic show based of an even more absurd universe.

The Shield is one of the best shows I've ever seen & how i discovered Walt...Best actor ever, I'm talking De'Niro level talent!! That scene with Lem is heartbreaking every time I watch it. I've known his talent for 20 years, I'm so glad to see him finally get recognized for it! Back in the day when i was 17 i ran one of the only 2 fan sites for him.
