Fast Fashion, like most political topics, is a complicated one. On its face fast fashion is unethical and should not be supported in any way. However, being able to purchase outside the fast fashion system is a privilege. And while we should educate about the horrors of fast fashion, we should not talk down to folks who have no choice but to operate within that system.

Yes!! 1000% THIS! This is what I say too. I do my best not to purchase fast fashion but I’m not going to give shit to anyone who does for the reasons you stated. Oh, (when it was safe), I liked to swap clothes with my friends and coworkers too! Whatever I don’t keep, I donate ☺️

❤ love it! My top tip is to reuse textile that can't be donated. If its too stained worn etc. Cut it down for cleaning supplies or if you sew then save it for stuffing and make pillows, toys etc stuffed with scrap textile. The longer a piece of fabric is used the more it off sets the environmental cost of creating it!
