On Grief and Life Lessons Learned After Losing My Cat

The video really begins at 7:00 and at the very end I summarize the life lessons I learned. I lost my cat, Minina, of 14 years on April 21, 2020 and having never lost someone in my life before it impacted me so much that I just wanted to share it and document it.

I lost a very dear pet recently. He had been in my life for years and we had shared so many special times together! It all resolved itself in the end - as it turned out by toddler had simply locked him outside without realising it. Of course, I was half way through the grieving process when he walked back in with a puzzled look on his face. The worst thing about it all is that I referred to my dog in the past tense for about a week! Your mindless optimism shook me out of my fog - just in time for my dog's actual passing. A nasty business involving a milk float, postman and an out of control horse!
