I'd love to have a 1977 to 1989 full size 9c1 Police Car, 1990 had door mounted seatbelts, and you thought you were secure in your car and possibly be ejected if the door opens.

If you get a car with a bill of sale and you file for a title are there any repercussions to owing money from the previous owner's actions? Sorry if this is a silly question but never have bought a car from an auction.

No, all parties that have an interest in the vehicle are notified and given the chance to recover the vehicle. If they do not recover the vehicle in the allotted amount of time, they default any interest in said vehicle.

Yes, you can buy online. Just make sure to check the type of paperwork you get with the vehicle and ask your local license branch if they will process it.

I am amazed that the prices are that cheap. I'm near Minneapolis, and similar vehicles, in worse shape, go for 3 to 4 times the prices you paid.

They are not all that cheap here. You have to wait and watch for the good deals. It takes time.

If there’s no actual CLEAN title available then it’s not worth the time and headaches and possibly being stuck with some vehicle that your state says no to.
