That slow roll on white's cap was absolute insanity. And then white rolled an 11v7 and also won to take it back. Also insanity. Kind of like playing portals on super max is insanity. Is it just because it's winter time? Do Risk players go a little nutty? Granted, it's not as insane as manual prog caps on super max like Digi has been playing but still. All kinds of shenanigans going on.

Part of the reason I played portals here is I was hoping a bonus would get cut off completely with only portal access, unfortunately wasn’t lucky enough for that.

I think you’re misunderstanding what I was saying there. I’m not saying it’s inherently a bad play. I’m saying that maneuvers like that, where you throw out a potential trustworthy ally that early in the game, are very frequently executed by players who aren’t as skilled. The social aspect of Risk is one of the most important parts of the game. In this case it didn’t really matter for red because everyone either quit or got eliminated, but on a larger map that type of play will likely get you punished before the end of the game.

You should have knocked out the smaller stack if you wanted the white bot to attach your cap.

I was mostly hoping it would attack like a 7 on 6 or a 9 on 6 and lose. I didn't really want all of its troops on one territory to attack.
