I love the quirkiness of On One bikes this looks a great durable bike. Nice work.

Almost finished my 650b build. Its looking great with the same Vittoria tyres as yours. Fulcrum racing 7 wheels and Sram Rival 1x11. Just waiting for my centerlock rotors to arrive now. Cant wait to get out on it😊👌

Kes, Can you tell me please, are the frames identical? can you fit 29er wheels into the 650b bike and vice versa? Thanks Sandy

Just ordered the 29er frameset for a bargain price of 200quid. I will be doing a d.i.y build based around 12s NX and a pair of Superstar hoops. Your great review really helped me make my mind up so ta very much Guy.

Lee Hyson that’s definitely a bargain price! Sounds like a cracking build too. Enjoy 👌🏻

Did that include the fork as well? All the prices seem really jacked up atm. Just over 400 for the frame, fork and headset right now.
@leehyson98314 жыл бұрын
@@SuperFunHappyLies I really was lucky.....I paid £199 plus £15 postage for the frame and fork. ( i got the correct headset much cheaper from another famous online seller😜). My Bootzipper truely rides really well and i highly recommend them.

@@leehyson9831 Was on the fence but decided to spend a bit more and get something a bit nicer. If it was still £200 would have been a no brainer. I ended up ordering a Nordest Sardinha 2. Still a steel 29er but I prefer the look and has an insane amount of mounting points.

Anyone know whether the frame is the same for both? Have just bought bootziooer that has 29's but would like the option of fatter 27.5/650b. Any help appreciated.

Since they are not rust treated, do I need to treat them internally? I have one and I know the rust looks "cool" but I guess it´s not the best for longevity?

Great video buddy! Quick question have you ever road the SONDER FRONTIER SX EAGLE RIGID. I’m took on witch one of these two bikes to get for my bike packing around Shropshire and Wales
@GuyKesTV3 жыл бұрын
I’ve not ridden the Frontier im afraid. Just Transmitter, Cortex and the Camino gravel bike. Neil normally does a great job on the Sonder frames. I was really surprised how well the Bootzipper rode though.

I can’t help feeling a bit disappointed that it’s not a 29+ bike. I’ve been bikepacking and touring for many years on my inbred 29er, and I was hoping on-one would make something more like a Jones or Surly ECR for me to move on to and take on more epic off road trips.

I think the bootzipper frames are a batch from another company that planetx bought...They didnt design it.

True that they're both steel with lots of bike packing fixtures. Pretty much opposite ends of the steel tech and craftsmanship spectrum but that's reflected in the price.

@@GuyKesTV Hi Guy. Great work on the videos. I am very interested in the 650B with drop handlebars and I am 5' 10.5". Do you think the medium frame would be the way to go? I am guessing that the extra reach to the drops would be huge on the large frame.....Cheers, Mark

@@reginald68 Thanks, glad you enjoyed them. I'm half an inch taller and I'd say yes if you're going for drops then go medium to balance out the extra reach.
