Suggestion for scooter ride on Koh Samui. There is a ring road all the way around the island. You can use that as a basis for getting off on little side roads towards the beach side and serendipitously exploring lesser visited parts. Also the road that loops down from the ring road to the southern beaches, and then rejoins the ring road is well worth exploring. You can also go up through the jungle over the top of the island from Lamai to Maenam - spectacular, but it is incredibly steep in places, and you really need to physically lean back to apply heavy pressure to the brakes on some of the downward slopes! Enjoy!

Hey I totally love your videos, especially now in the pandemic it is nice to see somebody travel and dream of finally going to Thailand myself. I enjoy that you travel backpacker-style and low-budget, because I would also have to travel on a tighter budget . Some things I would also find cool: if you did a more detailled description of your travel routes. Perhaps make a blog where you describe your travels and how you got from A to B and how you would rank that in terms of cost/comfort/duration? I couldn't really tell how long your journey took u/how much it cost from the video alone. Perhaps also other recommendations (places to stay, eat, book tours),or tips of do's and don'ts :D. At the end of your trip it would also be awesome if you did Itinerary recommendations based on travel durations for each country (e.g similar to IntAffair). Those usually bring in lots of views and are super helpful! Just a personal wishlist :D but I hope you also found it helpful

These are wonderful ideas! Thank you 😊 We are still working up to having the confidence to give out travel advice, but it is definitely something we are interested in doing in the future. For now, we will try to show the cost/duration more often. We are also working on getting a blog up and running, but neither of us has built a website before so it is slow going 😅 We are shooting to have that up by the New Year! @@OnePackWanderers Just start. If you're waiting to find 'your confidence', you'll never start. Just keep it simple to start with. Just post a link to the eateries, where you hired bikes, what accommodation you stayed in etc.... prices etc. It'll start to evolve the more you do it.

The egg is thai custard also called sangkhaya (yes made with eggs) :D. Its usually eaten with sticky rice in coconut, like mango sticky rice. I miss TH, hope i can make a trip in 2022. Postcard please! :D Enjoy your stay! Haha the shoes @<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="455">7:35</a> !

@@OnePackWanderers i enjoyed Bangkok.. bustling city with lots of great neighborhoods and madness packed in tight corners and alleys... love the great street food and night markets which are plenty in bangkok. but Chiang Mai... love the quiet peaceful north of THailand.. the food i thought was more fresh and just another level. great city to stay awhile and explore the north. i did the elephant sanctuary and tiger visits.. both are amazing experiences. i love the sunday night market.. that market is huge.. about length of 3-4 football fields.. and never ends... and best of all. the people are the nicest and prices are cheap... you know something about being cheap :) enjoy!

8.52 rice with pork boiled in chinese herb soup. I don t know the name of this plate in english, it has been called Khoa kha Moo in Thai. You can order without pork skin or intestine, if you don't like. They will give you only pork meat top on rice.

Koh Samui is our home stomping ground. It is where my wife and I met. It has a special place in my heart. If you want a quiet peaceful beach check out Maenam. Also Nathon is worth the visit and Gramma and Grampa rocks.

Hahaha we are seriously considering extending our stay in Thailand beyond the 60 days, or at least finding out if that's possible.

@@OnePackWanderers I believe you can extend once for an additional 30 days on a Tourist Visa for a fee. I would check with the US Embassy of Thailand.
