I was a cop for 13 years (last 6 as a detective in PPU) and I met tons of these type of plod….old, overweight, uneducated and angry. Still carrying the rank of PC after years in the job because they have nothing going for them. They have little thinking ability so they go through life doing as little as possible and you better believe that they will stitch you up if you hurt their feelings or show them up for being the fools that they are. We called them uniform carriers because that is all they do. Think of it this way - if you were involved in a real emergency and needed help quickly; would that example of a cop fill you with confidence? I am writing a book about police corruption and my experience as an attempted whistleblower. Look out for it

Good to see he was able to stop the elderly person from riding his bike though. The people of Farnham were then able to relax in the knowledge that they were safe.
