What a fabulous shop is Goldtop. Recently on holidays from brisbane australia, I visited the store, nothing like it in brisbane - the Patrol Jacket, absolutely beautiful, but way too heavy for Queensland conditions. Settled on the ‘58 jacket. Recommend visiting the Goldtop store.

Living behind the iron curtain till the 90's, we had what we had .. Soviet made stuff mostly. That is part of the reason why many brands are virtually unheard off in my part of the word, including the one you are speaking about.

Good morning Stu. Another good video. That looks like a very nicely designed jacket. My first leather jacket was from Lewis Leathers. It cost me £14 which then was two weeks wages. I had that for two years until an accident ruined it.

yeah i think lewis was always considered a more expensive option. never saw them in the shops of cash strapped Hull! i have a feeling out issue leather trousers were Lewis but cant be certain.

I had a Lewis jacket and a pair of redwing boots my brother gave me. Used to go off roading on a suzuki ts185, loved that bike, had to flog it when I got married 😢

There used to be a Lewis Leather shop at the bottom of The Moor in Sheffield. Went there with my mate for his first racing leathers, probably 77/78.
