Inasmuch as Taal itself is a caldera, its collapse was total. The island is just a resurgent dome complex rebuilding the Taal caldera into another immense volcano -- but that process will likely take 10s of thousands of years.

Last night, I was dreaming that I almost died like.. When my grandmother's house is on Taal Volcano, and then I woke up and I was in the hospital in that dream and when I went in the house, I was terrified because.. you know. After I woke up for real after this nightmare, I realized I was dreaming and then actually my Grandmother's house is at Del Rosario Pampanga. Taal Volcano is located in Talisay. It's really far away to the location of my grandmother's house.
