I was just told l may be heading there. I refuse to pay the police who falsely charged me and so am told l will be arrested ( l am on bail now) by immergration at next hearing and held for apx 4 weeks before being deported. I am looking at " alternative routes" any advice would be very gratefully received. I did three weeks in the Manila police detention center and that was bad enough

I lived here for 7 years and seen a Aussie friend of mine being arrested and thrown into Jail in Cagayan De Oro Misamis Oriental in Mindanao because his GF made a false accusation accusing him of sexual misconduct and physical abuse . The police conducted no investigation and just send him to jail. He was there for 6 weeks until a prosecutors hearing than an other 7 weeks until he got the news his case was dismissed for luck of evidence...Western Countries give the Phil. millions of $ in aid but say they can not do anything to help there countrymen though they know the wrong doings of the Phil. justice system...But well what do you expect from those selfish bastards ... It would be interesting to see if a son or daughter of a senator or MP was arrested what they would do ???
