Which would you pick ? Solaris 50 or Beneteau First 53 ?

This is currently the exact dilemma I have. Very similar in approach. I have yet to see either or sail them in person. What I can gather so far is that perhaps the Solaris is at a higher quality craftsmanship, while the First 53 may offer a touch more performance? Not sure. The Solaris also seems to offer much more customization if you like that sort of thing.

The thing I don’t like about Solaris, they’re interiors are so plain. New Oceanis, Elan, & Oyster yachts have far more interior character.

Look at the videos of the sailing frenchman...he's racing a boat with dual aft helms like this around the world...last vid he was in the southern ocean...maybe this type if sailing is not for you...but plenty of people like it and are doing it. The solaris by the way is a boat designed for the med...people work all year and in their free time they cruise and race in the med (italy, greece, france) on a boat like this...sounds better than driving a expensive motorhome round the city if you ask me.
