Patrick, just curious, how did you get access to this drone video footage of Rutgers?

That was done by one of our members!! Will Lampe took the footage himself

as a Rutgers alumni i have to honestly say that this version sucks. i graduated in 14 and i still sing "my father sent me to old rutgers, and resolved that i should be a man" in protest.

The men are in fine voice but, the change to the lyrics is terrible!!

You're ABSOLUTELY right. How HORRIBLE it is to replace "My father sent me to old Rutgers and resolved that I should be a man" in order to be considerate to those who are not "men" at Rutgers University, (a measly 50% of the student body!) and those who don't have fathers in their lives - truly TRAGIC!

@@Kirby1211997 Literally nobody thinks less of women because of the old lyrics. It's just straight up virtue signaling and you should know that.

@@maxdiarrea1352 To be frank, my father didn’t send me to old Rutgers, resolving that I should be a man. I sent myself to Rutgers to get a degree. So... The old lyrics made sense when Rutgers was an all-male institution, but it is no longer, so the change applies the entire student body, which includes people who identify as genders other than... well... men.
