Whoa nice... I like what you did with the flip nose! On camera... that yellow looks really close to the front end color. Can't wait to see them finished!! Good inspiration there... I have a ton of older diecast cars that would benefit from these types of upgrades. KUTGW!! And have fun at Comicon!!

Thanks! Yeah, I think the Sun Yellow is a pretty close match...I tried a few model paints first, but all of them were too different. I'm certainly not the fastest builder, but I like to think that I'll get some of these projects done eventually :)

spencer1984.com how's the movie general lee project with the mpc general lee model kit coming along?

Dylan Lawless I'll be doing the wet sanding/polishing on it this week, and depending on how that goes I may be finished as soon as next weekend.

spencer1984.com I can't wait to see the general lee when it's finished and how come the kit comes with 2 decal sheets for?
@Spencer198410 жыл бұрын
Dylan Lawless I'm looking forward to getting this one finished as well! The decal sheets are so that you can choose between peel & stick or waterslide, depending on your experience and/or preference.

Thanks! The nose does still need a lot of work - I question some of the decisions I made at the time - but it looks like the base material is still workable, at least.

@Spencer19842 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I had bought them back when they were still on retail shelves. I can't remember if it was from a dedicated hobby store or Walmart, they were all carrying these kits at the time.
