Air bladder seals are the best but more problematic. I feel for you. Our Wanderlodge has double seal slides. No air. They are a pain to repair also. Great video. Owing these beasts are a labor of love. Thanks again.

Thanks for this video. I am also having a problem with my rear slide on my 2004 Prevost Featherlite. I have to manually go down and release the pressure on the bladder then the slide will go in or out. Then I have to reset the pressure to what you said and I was told to 10 to 12 pounds. I took it to Prevost in Nashville an at that time this was sporadic so of course it preformed properly for them. Another person told me how to release and reset the bladder. Prevost did not. However their slide guy did tell me that I did not want their fix for what at that time I described because Prevost was having major problems with their fix. In fact they were flying a person in from the factory to see if he could figure out a problem with one they had in for service. So I found this video very helpful and I am going to call your guy to discuss my situation and see what he recommends. Would you please keep us informed on how your slides work after this repair. Also get him to show you the adjustment valve and how to operate it just in case you ever need to do this process yourself.

Same issue with my Marathon H3 just cropped up this morning while getting ready....that dreaded hissing sound on the front slide. My buddy in Houston that knows Chad is calling him since I will be in Dallas. What did it cost to do both slides and how much time in the shop?

Seems like the dealer would have caught the wrong psi setting during their PDI, assuming they did do a thorough PDI. Did you review the service records on the bus before you purchased it?

Ken good hearing from you. We bought the bus several months ago. We had it in 2 different repair shops back to back for different maintenance updates. And after weeks being away, that’s when we discovered this. Yes, Dealer did the PDI and the slide went out and in as expected. Yes, we have the bus service records we reviewed prior to buying. @liberty_coach_498 Great video, I lose sleep over slide seals 😢. I’ve found my coach behaves better the more I use it. Sometimes I’ll have a small air leak that resolves itself with some exercise. Personally I would have bought a no slide but m wife really wanted a slide. I’m a DIYer as much as possible so I’m always looking for something to reduce maintenance and failure. I know I have that slide seal someday coming.
