Having every single episode of on the buses on dvd and the movie spin offs also on dvd my thoughts are that it was a brilliant comedy plus it was absolutely fantastic family comedy no smut or rudeness basically a brilliant timeless classic comedy in every sense

Great show with decent people in it, having a laugh and taking the piss and a little bit of light "smut", what British comedy does best! "Are You Being Served" was another classic, Stephen Lewis also done well in "Last of the Summer Wine".

I must admit , the sheer bawdiness and the (sometimes )' near -the knuckle' humour was one of the main reasons I loved On The Buses as a kid-that and the sexy clippies ! My favourite character was always Blakey.

I still watch all the repeats, it was one of great British comedies ...... sadly though, aside from one or two clippies, all the main cast have now died.
