He's absolutely right about a lot of things, especially the 'woodland in the square' concept. Naturalizing the city for example, Beaver Hills Park (Downtown Edmonton) = condoms, sex, drugs etc. and therefore the wrong transect zone.

OMG, he mentioned Tysons Corner! I live there. What he said is true but in the six years since then the county is trying really hard to change all that. We'll see if it all works out.

"architecture should be of his time or of his place?" falacious question, ofc is BOTH. cant construct like XIX century OLD construction system in XXI and wont do stupid kitsh things.. XXI architecture has the best techonologies and milions possibilities that permit construct buildings that perfectly fits. Is not that all architecture of XXI century is "Hight-tech" or "ghery/zaha hadid"(deconstrutivism)...go see some Siza architecture ;)
