12:10 Danvers and her husband danced to twist and shout and it reminded her of him and how happy she was. 28:33 she knew it was holden because he had the sane stuffed polar bear that danvers had. And the show made it very clear that Julia saw her mom - cross necklace - under the bed and Navarro saw her sister - blue hair.

Something tells me that pollution that is capable of causing chromosomal damage wouldn't be a useful tool when you're trying to extract DNA from a prehistoric microbe. Even if it did help to melt the permafrost more rapidly...

There was alot of lack od satisfying pay-offs and some weak writing but overall I did enjoy the season. I think 'the Night Country' was death, the underworld so to speak. Perhaps more accessible in this location that lies in darkness and cold for so long. Navarro can see into this world and it calls to her. Danvers grief and loss is her connection to this world. There certianly was a lot that just wasnt wrapped up and just felt like they threw it in for no particular reason beyond creating a creepy vibe. Thats bad writing. The oranges, the one eyed polar bear, the Scooby Doo villian explaining the devious plan at the end. The pollution explainination did not ring of veracity and seemed almost funny in its pat explainiation. But I still liked what I liked about it a lot. It also fell disappointingly short on some points

Commending you both on your neutral acount and way of explaining through the mire of what the authors ended up presenting to us all :) i won't at all defend what i witnessed (6 episodes was a known expiry). It's not even to make it comparable to S1, but they could not even make it more beneficial to digest than S2. If they are. dare i state, in some wayward thinktank dreaming up w/a S5 - please form/storm/norm/perform in the writer rooms of Hawley, Gilligan, Carter for advisory et al

My heart still hurtz we did not discover the origin of the yellow king. If Hollywood is nothing but teasers, The writers need to go back to the classics it resonates in The stoner, breakfast of champions, old man and the sea. FINISH IT. I WII NOT BELIEVE FOR ONE SECOND HARRELSON AND MCCONAUGHEY Wsted that performance. No pressure.

If you genuinely liked this season - if you actually think this was good in any legitimate way - you love garbage TV. And that's fine. Soap operas, hallmark and mid budget horror movies exist for you. But keep this nonsense off of HBO. What an absolute joke and insult to the fans of s1. This will undeniably go down as one of the biggest sh*t stains on the HBO name.
