Elitebook is business grade... If you want a preem unboxing experience, go get a Spectre... I love the Elitebook line, exclusively deploy them in my company with no complaints.

Is the Spectre higher than the Envy? I do know that Pavilion is the bottom, then the ProBook, then EliteBook. And yes, Elitebook is 100% awesome. Am I the only one who finds the keyboards of the EliteBook better than the ThinkPad? And I used a T15 for one of my clients for almost a year, so yes I know.

On the business side, probook is generally the base model, then elitebook and Z. I LOVE my Z Laptop and my former Eltiebook, the keyboards are SO nice to type on.

Got the 835 G8 5850U/16GB/1TB, the previous iteration, and really like it even though I am mostly ThinkPad user. I'll wait for Zen 4 update and then decide which one to go with - ThinkPad vs EliteBook. Good video overall.

Hp has come a long way I feel for quality. We got our oldest kid the aero 13 for school and he absolutely loves it. Dead silent, great battery life and very speedy

Honestly, I hated them back in college circa-2007 - 2009. After sticking with the MacBook Air and then the ZenBook until 2017, I used the Elitebook G5. Wow. Such a difference in quality. 5 years, I did not have any kind of problem with it.

I agree. A lot of companies aside from Lenovo with their ThinkPad and Apple do this. Yes, we have laptop bags and will never use the packaging again, but premium is still premium.

Probably because most of these are going to corporate environments where it'll be the IT departments not the individual end users who will be unboxing the device for the first time. The same happens with Dell Latitudes and Lenovo ThinkPads.

HP is very nice, though underrated compared to Dell and Lenovo here in the Philippines. I used the Elitebook 840 G5 (the one with the 8-series I7) for 5 years before I switched to the very professional and solely-for-work Asus Zephyrus G14. The Elitebook is tough, very light, and I know that the AMD version is very power efficient. Edit: KZbin, please handle spams better. I just reported 8 spams of accounts pretending to be Justine.

HP are very misleading about battery life, my ProBook said up to 16 hours battery but on lowest brightness and power saving mode with nothing running etc, i only get 4 hours. I just got the laptop brand new in box last week. so there is nothing wrong with the battery like its deteriorated over time.
