Ashley's House does seem to have a very intimate atmosphere lit with light bulbs emanating a warm orange light. It seems to also have a wide selection of wines on display next to the table. The proximity to the kitchen is not necessarily a bad design choice as the patrons can enjoy seeing their food being made, on the spot, being assured of the fresh quality of the ingredients as well as having a look into the fine art of cooking.
