Fabulous tour Dr Lori. That pair of mid century glass shades you showed near the beginning, were ceiling light fixtures in my childhood stairway. Though of course, they may have been produced as shades to sit on a base as you described, as well. Ah, the memories. Thanks for the look-about. I used to fish with Mom & Dad. Standing in water, pole in one hand. Reached in with left hand and caught my first sunfish. Didn't get one on the pole that day. lol The birdhouses catch my eye too !
