Hello Kerstin. Another lovely vlog. Always a joy to watch. The spring flowers are so beautiful. I have daffodils pushing up in my garden with some snowdrops under our tree here in Yorkshire. Despite the cold and icy days in January nature is slowly bringing forth spring. Such a joy. I can’t wait for all the spring flowers. Thank you so much for sharing 🌷🪻🥀❤

Hello dear Kerstin, how do you do? - Thank you very much for this new video. - So many wildflowers, I remember what a tremendous variety of species we had here in Germany back then. The green meadows were littered with countless flowers of all kinds and colors. There are hardly any meadows left here today, and where there are any left, everything is eagerly mowed down, eaten away by cattle or sooner or later paved over with buildings and roads. But I'm sure you know that yourself, and you can count yourself lucky to be able to live close to pristine nature. God bless you, have a lovely rest of the week❤

Hello Cora and thanks for your message. I agree that the variety of flowers has decreased - one reason why we try to have a bee / butterfly friendly garden and do not use chemicals (hence there is always "weed" around). I have just seen a daffodil in bloom this morning - this is very early indeed! Have a lovely day - sending love from Scotland

Hello again dear Scottish Fairy! What a delightful walk and to see the beautiful, delicate early blooms of spring! We still have very harsh cold weather here in our area and snow is forecast for next week again, but spring never disappoints and comes with its annual joy and freshness. Only the hardiest of early spring blooms survive the harshness of the cold and snow, but stretch forth in loveliness and turn their little flower faces to the sun. They are so like you dear Scottish fairy....who has survived the 'winter of harsh judgment' and now bloom in the joy of just being your gentle self in simplicity and inner peace. I always enjoy watching you arrange flowers and your delightful cooking as well as the background music.

Such beautiful spring flowers! There so lovely😄 What a creative and beautiful flower arrangement. I planted some edible flowers this week and have some full grown plants I ordered online and I am looking forward to putting them in my greenhouse once the weather is warm enough. I am using grow lights and growing them indoors and I have a metal planter I plan on planting more flowers on our deck once the weather warms up. It is still too cold here as we are possibly getting more snow next week. I have topiary trees that I will renew with plant fertilizer and water and sunshine also once the weather permits for outdoor growing. I use those trees for decorating my deck and when I got them they were on sale as they are very expensive usually. I have 4 of them and they come back every year. I think it is wonderful when things return and you can regrow them. I use my edible flowers for tea and decorative purposes. My plants I got online so far are chives, peppermint and bell peppers. I am thinking of getting some more online. I look forward to seeing more flowers grow that I have planted and will plant later. I love watching things grow and you have so much beauty where you live and I really enjoy seeing the countryside and wonderful scenery that you have in Scotland. Thank you for the video😃

It is always amazing to me when I see February posts from people who live in Scotland, or the West of Ireland particularly. I know you get the lovely benefit of warm water from the Gulf Stream but wow. Many places in the northern part of the US (I'm in northwestern NY State) are still seeing snow and very cold temps.
