It's now the year 2020. The world seems like it's coming to an end. But I did just discover these 6 year old tutorials that seem like the best I've seen, so it's not all bad news :)

@@sloppydog4831 why he doesn't release video anymore ? Is that related to his job with ED?

Playing with the weapons profile of CBU's is fun too. You can really change the effect of the weapon to better match what you need it to do.

God I miss this guy! Not sure where he went or why he stopped making DCS tutorials but what a terrible loss for the DCS community.

You can change the HOF in the INV tab under DSMS so that you can release under 1800

Christine, good tip! Another trick is to change the fuzing option in the DSMS profile from N/T to Nose. That disables the proximity sensor and has the dispenser function based on the "func time" listed in the DSMS profile allowing you to release from a lower altitude. I didn't show that in the video because I don't think that feature was intended to be used in the sim. It will sometimes blow up your aircraft when the bomb releases. :)

Great video! I wonder if real Hog pilots watch these videos?! I envy fighter pilots so much! If I had a choice to be Michael Jordan, or a fighter pilot, I would choose fighter pilot all day! I was in the Marine infantry, and we were live fire training in Thailand Cobra Gold. There were F-18 pilots training with us by dropping inert concrete bombs right over our heads! I heard our air control officer talking to the F-18 pilot who expressed admiration from hearing our machine fire over the radio. He said it sounded like we were having alot of fun. I thought to myself, who is he kidding?! He is having all the fun in the world! Flying a world class F-18 above our rice paddies!! We were all sweating dogs in the mud and mosquitos! He had the best view and air-conditioned cockpit (btw are they temp controlled?), which is a much better situation. Anyways you fighter jocks, us Marine infantry envied you guys way more than you envied us on the ground firing our machine guns. Nothing can compare to thrill of jet powered flight. I can imagine how much fun the F22 is.
