Had a great time away at Mansfield with Middlesbrough in the FA Cup a couple of years ago. Lovely, unique, lesser trodden lower league stadium. Unfortunately marred by some very questionable stewarding in and outside the ground from a police force (and locals) that clearly aren’t used to 2000+ away fans descending on their town on a Saturday

Been there 3 times supporting Cambridge. Ok town, but i always seemed to encounter local hoodlums, before or after games. I suppose the main upside to Mansfield away is that Sherwood Forest is nearby for anyone wanting to make a weekend of it and stay in a cabin.

A few items of food have ended up on that Footy Scran page as well and they are looooovely. Also, if you do, parking costs around £5 (do not park in Yorkshire outlet) if you don’t want to pay, type in Nando’s, Cheswold, or Herten Triangle and park there for free then it’s just a short walk around the lake
