Steve Moriarty, whom many know as the drummer of 90s band the Gits, is back with new band Wolves in Argyle! He is also preparing to release a book about the Gits and their singer Mia Zapata, one of the great voices of the grunge movement. We discuss how he began drumming, meeting and bonding with his bandmates in college, being in Seattle with 7 Year Bitch, touring in Europe, being courted by Atlantic Records, losing Mia, forming Evil Stig with Joan Jett, and everything since!

Steve is not only a great drummer but a cool human being. I was an early supporter of his Mia Zapata book project and he had a pair of sticks from the Gits era sent to me, which I treasure. Great interview.
