One of the best songs I've ever heard. A great job. 2:18

Corey Hensley is one of my favorite bluegrass singers. He has a great voice.

Thanks for telling me about Corey Hensley. I had only heard him with Doyle Lawson. I started a playlist on KZbin. Really love his music!

I only became aware of Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver a few years ago and I'm really bummed that I didn't get a chance to see them before Doyle Lawson retired.

I have a DVD of his 25th anniversary, performing with 13 versions of his group from the past with 32 songs. It's a great DVD!

I don’t love the bass player’s sidelong glance at the guitar player after his voice cracked at the end of the second verse. It’s a bad look. He’s your band mate and you should have his back. Those are tough notes for anybody to hit and he’s doing a darn good job.

Yeah, I notice that every time I watch it. But in his defense, if you've ever sung in a SG quartet (I have), you know it's just reflex to react when something odd happens. I'm sure he wishes he hadn't done it. But even the pros do make mistakes. That's why a live performance is so fun to watch. We really enjoyed seeing a Doyle Lawson & QS performance in The Barns at Wolftrap- great concert they put on- must have been in the '80s.

@@FourKnown I’ve been guilty of it as well. It’s a reflexive instinct that needs to be suppressed.
