Whitney was one hard working woman in the 90s. She went one phenomenon right until the next nonstop, the Star Spangled Banner, The Bodyguard, Waiting To Exhale, The Preachers Wife, Cinderella and released a whole studio album in 98' ALL OF WHICH WERE MASSIVE SUCCESSES! No flops whatsoever! That woman was tired! RIH Whitney.

yes but technically her promoting obligations were much lesser than if she did a solo album like in 1990 & 1998. she did have a vigorous schedule for bodyguard due to its massive success, but with waiting to exhale soundtrack she didn't have to tour as much (only singing 3 songs on the soundtrack) and preachers wife was a gospel album. so from 1995 to1998 she was much more relaxed. though having so much difficulty at home with bobby.

@@JustTheLonelyTalk No I believe abusive is the right word, from what we have seen and from what close friends of Whitney have said is that can be harsh and comes off emotionally abusive. Whitney said on her last interview with Oprah that her mother made her feel small. Cissy didn't have a mother herself so she really didn't have an example of what motherly love was. Verbally insulting your child and making them feel not as good is not overbearing. Dionne Warwick talks about Whitney more motherly and affectionate than Whitneys own mother
