I appreciate the fact that no matter how popular or rich Whitney got, she still recognized God for all He had blessed her with. Whether she was at church, a concert, or getting one of her many awards, she wasn't afraid to thank God for all she had. She wasn't perfect, she struggled, nobody is perfect, but she knew who could help her in times of trouble! Life is not easy but God has been there for me, God has brought me through the worst times and I will be forever grateful! thank you God!

Whitney’s voice was still extraordinary and best all the way through 2001, especially when she was well rested.

It makes perfect sense when we remember that God is, "The God of the impossible." He "makes All things possible." Whitney's voice bore Testimony of that, all for God's Glory ✝️
@lvelez1999 Жыл бұрын
Yet, "a voice," doesn't make someone extraordinary. Accepting Jesus, our Messiah, in to her heart, as her Personal Lord and Savior, made her Extraordinary! The same goes for all of us ✝️
@erikm837211 күн бұрын
What a bizarre comment. You’re surprised at her ability to hit these notes in 1998, then you say it "makes no sense how amazingly talented she was"… sounds more like you’re surprised at her range! 🤔 The talent of a performer who is skilled is undeniable, whether the voice was working then or not. It’s the mind and soul that is the musician. If you don’t know the material or the music, you’ve got nothing to begin with. Even if someone’s voice deteriorates completely, they’re still the same musician in their head and can still approach music the same. Y’all need to just appreciate and stop commenting on her skill, her life, and everything else. If you’re not being helpful or supportive, or even needed, maybe think twice before expressing yourself.

That was an impromptu performance, where she came up with the idea that morning. She choose this church because it was the church that Rodney Darkchild Jerkins father preached at. “She said “Rodney I want to go to church, your church”. This was Whitney’s roots. May god bless her soul and have her in your peace and glory.

She Had to leave The Church in order to reach The Masses that she was able to reach in her Time,, but she was so well known for taking Everybody back to church once all eyes and ears were upon her, to give Honor to Whom It All Came from... She Loved The Lord eveb with all of her humanly imperfections, She Honored, and Praised Him with her Gift... and so She Simply left all of This Behind to Meet Her Awesome Creator, and to Be Free of The Worldliness bindings, and to Sing and Praise in God's Heavenly Places for Ever More. Sir, with all respect, God IS my help :) and we get excited about something we believe in :) If it were football and people were screaming and shouting and acting all crazy, nobody would think anything of it, It is good to have something positive to get all get excited about, for some it is sports, cars, money, hunting etc. but then you have church folks who get excited about God. In these times of uncertainty, I NEED God who has already brought me through alot of very difficult times
