Excellent video. Well researched, skillfully assembled, and I like the texture of your voice. I hope good things happen for you :)

😂😂 Path McGrath (the make up artist) didn't cite this as another source of inspiration for the make up looks! But it is a valid wild comparison. 🤭

Yeah, luxury brands make a lot of money from non-rich people who can afford to buy a $50-$100 bag or perfume every once in a while, and they need to generate and maintain prestige in order to justify the prices. The fashion shows really are just advertisements for the brand.

Haute couture takes this statement to another level, not only it's unaffordable, it's rare. But as you can see the audience doesn't mind being blown away by this type of spectacle, they adore it!! It's la société du spectacle.

Very interesting and obviously a lot of research has gone into the making of this. Haute couture is like fine art, ballet or opera; a pure creative expression undiluted by most concerns other than to show the furthest end of what can be achieved by the house, these ideas then filtering down and diluting through the layers right down to the accessories/perfume etc. If the theatricality and wonder were lost I think fashion shows would be a walking shop, clothes for sale on people. Personally I'm not concerned with how wearable or affordable the clothes are as they are so far beyond my reach I could never imagine having the money to buy and wear them, however I love watching the shows and feel they are complete in themselves, the bigger, the more theatre the better. May I make just one suggestion, if you could pause every so often when speaking I think it would make the video easier to follow, I very much enjoyed it but personally would have appreciated a bit more space between subjects and sentences.

Thank you so much! Although some have complained that I talk slowly and that I take my time when talking, I will try to find a middle pace. And if i can't find a pace that suits everyone, then I'm going to simply content myself of talking the way i usually do 🙏🏼
