I think that 'invisibility' is a somewhat vague term for what has been done during intercultural mediation ever since the concept and role of the mediator gained some relevance in the course of history. What is really intriguing - at least to me - is how the notion of invisibility tends to pave the way for activism, yet another bravado term.
