The old religion makes sense but only up to a point. Bcz at death we leave everything behind is not a good enough reason to have absolutely nothing. Some few people wanna live that way for God, alright but to purposely deprive people (such as children) of things is not proper and not Christian. So yes, the good 'ol time religion has some definite flaws to it which is why it's not as popular as it used to be. On the other hand, simply giving people more things does *NOT* in and of itself make people better. Dependency on things w/o the cultivation of character and moral values does not make for better people. The proofs of this are countless
