On the Wrist, from off the Cuff: Richard Legrand (RLG) - Odyssea; Another Winner, New and Improved!

On this episode we take a look at the fifth iteration of the popular Odyssea diver from RLG. The previous take took quite a modern turn, while this latest version returns to a more vintage aesthetic. only real complaint about this piece is the bracelet links are a little THICCC for its case profile IMHO, and frankly would have been really nice if the taper had been to 16mm instead of 18mm. Also, i love the clasp, but hate the amount/placement of the micro adjusts. But its still a really nice piece for sure. I have the green one as well and it pops like crazy

Singapore made is A-Ok as long as not China. Always surprised how microbrands tend to offer more bang for the buck compared to Seiko, Bulova, Citizen etc.

The brand is Singapore based, but the watches are made in China. The Chinese are as capable of making watches as well as anyone else, and top brand Swiss brands use Chinese parts, FACT

@@jono8884 most household products are produced in China, ir have Chinese parts. China has the second biggest economy in the World, and this is largely based on their rosume. If they change what they do the rest of the world will suffer, an so will their people. It's wrong to inflict the politics of the west to countries in the east. Buy what you like if it makes you feel better, 99 percent of the public just want value
