On water review of “Catfish Pro” catfish bait

On water review of Catfish Pro catfish bait. I fished for about 8 hours on the Ohio River and the Mississippi River in various locations. I used the Catfish Pro bait in blood scent and shad scent and also used some cut skipjack that I brought along. I caught around 10 cats total and none were caught with the Catfish Pro bait. This is just a one day review and it is possible that this bait actually works given different location/conditions.

Them manufactured baits work best in small waters, works real well on stocked channels in the ponds and lakes! Great vid, bit of a windy day.

They work AMAZING for coon bait on the trap line, for fishing I sprinkle it with organic blood meal from a salt shaker. It'll wash off quick but gets things going like a chum

I’ve caught my fair share of channel cats in the early spring cold water with the crawdad flavor. That’s the only time they seemed to work. Gunna try them really soon again. I love how well they stay on the hook! Great video Terry 🎥

Have had a bag of this in the tackle bag for over a year. Try one rod with this blood bait nearly every time I catfish and i have never caught a catfish on catfish pro. I have had luck with the magic baits dough bait before. Much like you, I have found cherry chicken or liver, and cut bait to best.

Charles Hill, I always use the Rippin Lips Tournament Grade circle hooks in 8/0 for all sizes of cats. 6/0 for targeting the smaller ones.

What type of fishing line are you using?

Charles Hill, for my main line it’s Spectra Extreme Braid 8strand from ebay. Leader is 50 lb mono.
