For some reason Sean Keeler of the Denver Post has a personal axe to grind with Prime and CU. He is a negative person, that makes his living on negative stories especially when it comes to CU and Prime. If CU goes 12-1 Keeler will find and write all negative stuff because that is who he is.

You're right, and Shannon was incorrect, but later came back with the actual reason Prime had beef with main CBS: Prime was working with a main national CBS sports reporter who was working on doing a story on Prime/football. There were NOT two reporters involved. Only one means one-on-one interviews with Prime until the story was complete for publishing. This is where Prime became extremely upset when CBS gave the story to another writer who got credit for something that he didn't even have anything to do with, had no part of or ever had the leisure of speaking with Prime a day in his whole life. That is why Prime blew a gasket, but Prime reached back out to the local CBS reporter, had personal conversation and welcomed him back anytime but on the ither hand the reporter for the Denver Post that he addressed as well is barred from CU football press but free-flow to all other CU sports. The moral of the story is if there's any to consider because the damage has been done: Shortly after the Press day, debacle Prime did announce that main CBS reached out to Prime and they're cool now.

Honestly, now I feel dumb for having defended Deion multiple times. I assumed the ranking wasn’t the reason but assumed it was relating to digging into personal life/finances of his children. Which to me was foul or out of bounds since these are kids young men and need to time to mature before we can start treating them like pros judging them on how they handle their money. I can find many articles about shilo filing for a bankruptcy and the lavish lifestyle his sons are spending their money on. If this was just about a failed business venture, then I’m embarrassed. I thought he was doing something I viewed as noble, something I agreed with, not simply something to line his own pockets. I never assumed it was about any rankings. But, if he’s going to be public with his reaction and not be transparent about the reasons behind it, he’s 100% responsible for the fallout. When left with blank spaces, it’s human nature to fill in the blanks with something that makes sense to people from their own knowledge & perspective.
