if wilson doesn’t want to come because of money then i’d say osu dodged a bullet. why pay a very talented player alot when you could get 4 solid players for the same price. the fact that he’s even leaving georgia is a red flag. i’m sure osu and georgia told him the same thing. they showed him a price and he ain’t like it. stuff like this is why osu and georgia will contend next year and Missouri won’t.

That, unfortunately for me (life long Notre Dame fan), seems entirely possible. I knew that if someone didn't defeat OSU before the Championship Game that, even if we made it, was gonna be nearly impossible to beat them. They are playing exactly like the steam that the whole country believed they would be when the season began. Notre Dame is so beat up, injured and just... exhausted. It took everything they had just to get to the Championship, and I am a but worried about how this game might go. The things that Notre Dame does well, Ohio St does REALLY well. So, I am genuinely thrilled that we got here and I do love the future of the Program! Marcus Freeman could be building something special here, and the team is still very young. We will see. I think we are hopeful about this game, but cautiously hopeful. Most of us are just hoping we don't get thrashed.

@Will-fk2dk8 сағат бұрын
@chrissmith1364 Oh wow, Thank You! And to you as well! Look, it is no secret that not only has Notre Dame lost to Ohio State both recently and in the past, but we (yes, I am one of those fans that refers to their favorite team as "we"😁) have also been getting beaten in the recruiting game as well. Back in the mid 80s to mid 90s, the only team we had to worry about in the Midwest was MeatShitin'. Literally everything change in a heartbeat right around 1999... Since then, Ohio State has dominated the recruiting game. Think about it... OSU is the ONLY Midwestern Team that competes in the Top 5 in Recruiting Rankings with the South/SEC. Lately, yeah, the Wolverqueens have been hitting on some very good recruits, but not like Ohio State. Under Brian Kelly, ND did have a resurgence in Recruiting, consistently Ranking from a high of 5th (one time) to 14th. Never went below that, but the most devastating aspect was that Kelly could NEVER get a Top Tier QB into ND, nor could he land multiple 5 Star recruits per cycle. The most he ever got was 2 in one cycle, and that happened only once. Compare that to the Ohio State juggernaut. Even with multiple Coaching transitions they simply continue to roll along. As a fan of Notre Dame, obviously I am thoroughly jealous of what Ohio State has been doing, but I do have to respect it. Whenever Notre Dame was out of contention (usually quite often, hehe) I immediately turned my attention to OSU simply because they are the only Team that can compete with the SEC. Think about that: For 2 DECADES Ohio State was the ONLY MIDWESTERN TEAM that went head-to-head with the entire SEC, AND The Top Teams of the ACC when they had a couple of good years. I so badly want that for Notre Dame. And I know how people feel about Notre Dame. I have been hearing it since the mid 80s. Some of it is warranted, but a lot of it is false. Either way, I get it. Now, with this game I am bot worried about losing... What worries me is getting blown out. A game that is over before Halftime. A 49 - 10 type of game. THAT worries me because it is entirely possible. Anyway, I am really sorry this is so long. Just wanted to say Thanks for the reply and I also wanted to show Buckeyes fans that Fighting Irish fans appreciate the program that they have built. It is quite LITERALLY what we aspire to be. So, again... good luck to the Buckeyes. I hope for a good game and ZERO injuries (too many 1st and 2nd round Draft Picks in this game!)... PS... please tell your Freshman WR that he is too young to play in the Natty! Please!😎

i had a aneurism reading that lmao and second of all this is by far the best defense and offense notre dame will play all year. notre dames offense is terrible when the run doesn’t work and surprise surprise ohio state has one of the greatest run defense of ALL TIME statistically. and clearly your coping if you l think this wr core can’t be as good if not better then any wr class osu has ever had. There isn’t a single position notre dame is better at compared to osu. Just off of talent alone they could play bad and beat notre dame the same way they beat texas. but if osu has a good game plan and play the way they should this could be the ugliest game of the playoffs easily.

Recruits want to know why neither of these teams can beat Michigan. At least Ohio State still plays Michigan....Notre Dame got pounded in 2019 by Michigan so they refuse to schedule them and now they will only play their pathetic ACC schedule. Oh and they play their rivals the cadet schools😂😂😂😂 What a joke.. Ohio State is going to murder sorry azz Notre Dame.
@Irishfan13 сағат бұрын
Notre Dame played Michigan annually until the ACC told Notre Dame they would take the other sports in the conference if they would play football with 5 ACC teams a year. The big ten was already playing three to four games with Notre Dame. They were big games for the big ten schools. They refused to take the other sports in and let ND football stay independent. I see this as a big ten mistake. They would have been better off with ND non football sports in the conference and still playing the annual Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue, Penn State, and now USC games with Notre Dame.
