I'm TN fan and I wouldn't care if he doesn't lead us to a championship in this first full season. However, I expect him to do very well THIS season. Hopefully, next year he will kill it!

IMO this year will be more likely of that happening than next. Gonna have to replace the entire O line outside of Heard. Pretty much the entire starting D line will be gone as well.

It should hum well. I think Merklinger also is good enough to move the ball at an elite level. We'll throw it more but have a good rushing game could compliment a better offense this season than last. Wouldn't surprise me if it's a better passing offense than in 22. So far what's most impressive about Nico, and from a small sample size of the Iowa bowl game, he knows when the run the ball and when to throw it. Takes what the D gives him if it's working and rolls with it. Iowa is a good secondary D and many teams last season were forcing the pass when they should have been known more of when to run the ball as opposed to chucking it up there and hoping for the best.

UT at OK will be tough. They come out of that game with a W, they could easily go 10-2. But UF, as bad as they suck, somehow always plays their A++ game against UT, then loses to UK, who UT literally owns. I don’t get it.

11-1 or 10-2 has to be the record this year. I honestly dont think we lose to bama this year. Georgia is the only "guaranteed" loss on the schedule, but we probably drop another one somewhere (but maybe not).

Thirty-seven a game? Very doable to the point of expected. With a QB this good and a offense with this much talent and when you consider the style of offense, 40 plus seems very likely.

36 or 37 ppg isn't lofty. Nico is definitely more than 4 ppg better than joe if the intermediate passing is consistent. The vols averaged 46 a game in 2022 and nico is more athletic than hendon so I would bet on it being closer to that number

Sky is the limit this year for TN as a whole, with some caveats. Injuries can wreck a season faster than anything, some positions can weather an injury or two. Some MUST stay healthy, QB and OL, I'm just glad the younger OL is getting a lot of run in Spring practice. Hopefully there will be a couple stand out enough to be serviceable back ups, or better yet push for playing time.

Im a VOLS fan n not ashame to say B. Young outta bama was legit, great player. Wait on this yr. 1st game was last yr n was only a high school kid coming out. "GREAT" showcase but now that this is his show!!!! Thank u for all u did n much love J. Milton...but I wouldn't be surprised if Nico n the VOLS ends up at the national championships.
