This is true. Michigan is one of the best developmental programs in the nation. Well, currently they are in fact THE BEST. That was solidified by winning that natty and then sending more than a dozen guys to the NFL while also returning a roster with what appears to be at least four future first round picks in the mix, maybe more. Michigan is indeed a lot deeper and more talented than people are giving them credit for because of all the work they put in behind the scenes. And they added a starting guard, a starting linebacker, and an experienced kicker to boot! That's fine. Let them all keep underrating this team. The Wolverines will feed off that and destroy the narrative in the Fall

Michigan's success will hinge on whether or not Orji/ Tuttle/ Warren can convert third downs and sustain drives. Defensive depth is also key as a few injuries could critically hamstring this team.

They can surprisingly survive the injury to Rod Moore and the loss of Keon Sabb with what they' ve got on the roster. The two-deep is still solid all around. You're right though, as one or two more key losses really could hurt in the end.

I wouldn't be surprised if Michigan is actually better this year but so many people focus on the guys who left while either being oblivious of or purposely ignoring the fact that this team was rotating 2 and 3 deep pretty much everywhere, including QB. People expecting a big drop off are going to be surprised, I think. I predict 1 loss but I think 2 is a reasonable prediction. Wouldn't be surprised if they repeated as Big Ten champs though, not by any means.

Michigan will be better this year??? Explain your reasoning. Most of those 2 or 3 deep are gone to the NFL, the portals or just plain gone. THIRTY from the 1st and 2nd strings last year are gone. These are the FACTS. Moore is not as good as Harbaugh, it is blasphemous to think different. The new coaching staff is not as good or Harbaugh would have hired them. With the best QB in Michigan history gone, the new one won't be near as good. With Corum gone the RB tandem is not as good. With the top 7 O-linemen gone the O-line can't be as good. They lost 7 players from the defense, it can't be as good. They will have a good team, but nothing like last year.

One of the best head coaches in college football left and was replaced by an unknown. Harbaugh took almost all of his assistants with him, Two coaches were fired for driving drunk. The top 7 O-linemen are gone. Half the defense is gone. The Best QB in Michigan history is gone. A lot of depth is gone. Corum and Edwards is better than Edwards and Mullings.

Also, you don't have to win more games to be better, simply bein better statistically, even with a harder schedule, would mean they have gotten better. How do you know Mullings doesn't take a big step forward? How do you know Donovan Edwards hasn't gotten better? How do you know the O-linemen coming in won't be as good as the guys who left? Also, half the defense is not gone, I have explained this to you at least 5 times over various comments sections across various videos and you still parrot this falsehood that "half of our defense is gone" like it's fact. You sitting there claiming things are facts does not make them facts. You can hold your breath all day but it won't change the reality that Michigan has a legitimate shot to actually improve on their relatively underwhelming offense from the year prior while maintaining their defensive prowess. They’re going into the season underrated, but they are not blowing out teams this year. And they’ll keep the big games close, but they’re gonna lose against OSU, take the points though. The Texas and Oregon games at home could be close, their defense could win it for them. Realistically, their defense will have to win all their games for them to get back into the playoffs. That offense is gonna look like the ‘21 team, game management boredom, but that’s their thing, and also why they can’t close on playmakers, including the ones in their own state. That and they’re too conservative to pay like the SEC. After this year, this program is looking mediocre again, talent wise.

Michigan 2024 will look a lot like Alabama in 2023. Probably lose at home at Texas and people will overreact saying they don't have a good enough QB to win big. They will get better and better and become tougher to beat as the season goes on. Alex Orij will build confidence just like Jalen Milroe did and then at the end of season you could see a Michigan upset over Ohio State just like Bama over Georgia. Get ready for a Michigan to be left for dead earlier and then the world being surprised at how they're winning big when it counts.

As a Buckeyes fan after 17 years of beat-downs, I'm glad they reminded us what the rivalry means again. Regardless of how/what they beat us and cashed in on it all. The beauty of CFB is that last year is over and this season my Buckeyes are highly favored like always. One thing that puzzles me is that Ann Arbor never out-recruited Ohio State but now Oregon brought in a top class better than Ann Arbor and that's after they won it all .... The end of November will always come down to the team that does their job the best. Regardless of record. Oregon will jockey with Ohio State for the B1G this year based on how well they recruit and key additions from the portal. I think Ann Arbor will end up dropping 3 games this year. One being to OhioState come late November #GoBucks #FirstEver

Something worth remembering. The last time Harbaugh left a program in the hands of his hand picked successor it was David Shaw at Stanford and it took a full decade before there was a big drop off . And Stanford has more barriers and not close the resources of Michigan. Don’t be surprised when Michigan goes back to back

Did Harbaugh take as many coaches away from Shaw that he took from Moore? Shaw's record at Stanford was 96-54 he only had 3 PAC 12 titles in 12 years. Short answer OR OSU MI field - likely 50/50 for Mich getting there. Hard to view not getting to Indy as falling short after BTBTB B1G wins. QB needs to be at least honorable mention all B1G for chance at championship. This year - QB durability might decide B1G. AND stupid B1G giving PSU inside track to 2nd place avoiding MI/OR while AGAIN top 3 B1G teams play each other regular season - and MI gets TX. B1G piling on “schedule” sanctions while PSU gets a shot at ho humming to 11 wins. Good one - hamstring Natty winner with toughest schedule - does the B1G not see what got the SEC to be strongest - don’t play the toughest games outside of Conf Champ - and give an extra “FCS scrimmage” to avoid wear and tear.

Michigan…Not in 2024…but I’m sure they’ll be good enough to make the Big10 championship in 2-3yrs. Oregon will likely win at Michigan…and I think the undefeated regular season for Oregon will come down to Oct 12th, in Eugene. I was at the Michigan win in 2004, and I see the same type of game happening against Ohio State in 2024. If you’ve read some of the stories about that game, you’ll know that the noise was something Michigan had never experienced, according to HC Lloyd Carr, and it affected the Big10 team that had played at places like Ohio State, like they’ve never been affected before. Michigan was alot bigger, and they were obviously more talented, but, Oregon set the tone early, and made it hard on Michigan from the jump. In 2024 though, Oregon is a lot bigger and has 3times the blue chip talent, and depth from that past Oregon roster….meaning, Oregon winning will not be a Huge upset.
