Bryan Driskell all the way, but only for those who want the truth layers and layers deep from a player and coach who breaks down every single possible thing, from positioning and talent utilization to coaching failures, and doesn’t sugar coat what is wrong. He is absolutely the best for those who want details. WHY a play worked, or why it didn’t. Tyler is a great overall voice for team coverage and does a good job. Both Blue & Gold and IB are great channels. What ND nation needs is more people paying attention to the details especially as we are playing lights out against USC, Clemson, Georgia and Ohio St. in recent years. We no longer have a team that gets 3 or 10 points in a Kelly post season.

Irish Breakdown is the best I have ever seen or heard and I have more experience than I care to admit. I have followed him from his very first stop to IB. Every time I check out somebody else, for example this one, I am reminded again and again that I have the best already. It is also amazing that it keeps getting better as I go. Back to IB and Bryan Driskell. Bryan has done something that is utterly unbelievable. He has succeeded with creating a community. That is beyond special. God bless y'all

Legit seems stacked at every position for the first time in a LONG time. Receiver and o-line are iffy but I think Kris Mitchell and Beaux Collins additions are huge.

@dallasmorrow21 ill take it but I think you're giving A&M to much credit. They lost their starting RB recently and first year HC against an elite defense. I'm thinking 37-20 and A&M score 7-10 points in the last 6-8 minutes because we pull our starters on defense. 34-13 begining-halfway through the 4th. 37-20/23 to close it out.

@@stephengernenz8217 Just fyi, the RB lost was not their projected starter. He was actually listed as RB #3 - but he was expected to be a contributor.

What part of the offense will be elite?In the past we’ve relied on elite O-line and TE play to stabilize the offense. All offensive positions groups including OL have potential but who can be relied on week one in college station, nervous to say the least

This o-line group is inexperienced. However, there’s a TON of talent and upside. The tackles are light in the shorts (by modern o-line standards) but extremely athletic…..(assuming it’s Knapp and Wagner at the those spots.) No question the aTm d-line is talented. However, let’s not forget that ND’s o-line faces one of the better d-lines in the country in practice everyday. I also find it interesting that we hear nothing about the fact that A&M isn’t putting a strong group on the field this year and would LOVE to have ND’s “issues” at oline.

I think the QB has enormous potential, and could be "elite." I think the RBs are tremendous. Easily one of the top handful of RB rooms in the country. The TEs, assuming health, are elite. Evans is amazing. I think Raridon has exceptional potential, but he seems to be behind Flanagan -- and that is a good thing. The WRs, with help from the portal, seem talented and deep. I like that group. The real issue is the OL. Not much experience. Lots of uncertainty. That is my only real worry on offense. Hopefully they get it worked out.

2 years ago we lost to OSU with Tommy Rees and Tyler Buchner. A game that was at a manageable reach but not the staff/QB to pull it off. Our defense was the reason it was even that close. Then, a year ago, we lost a game that OSU didnt win. We lost, OSU didn't win... if you know, you know. That game believe it or not, we down graded our OC but upgraded our QB but still not much of a receiving threat. However, our defense completely overwhelmed one of the best offenses in college football... except for the final 2 plays when we only had 10 players on the field. Which still yeilded a pretty good effort, considering the fact. And yall are worried about TAM with a first year HC? Lol We got this. We've upgraded in every fascet of the football program except o-line but the athleticism of Leonard will offset that. We're going to win by a very promising margin.

@DearDaddyWarbucks it’s gonna be hotter in South Bend on Tuesday than it will be in Kyle field on Saturday. Not like all of our guys are from Canada. If we lose I’d pin it on lack of O line execution and crowd noise. All 22 players on the field at any given time are D1 athletes after all. They can handle heat.

You guys realize that 2 years ago we lost to Ohio State by a lead that was manageable to win but ultimately did not. Then a year later (a year ago) we lost to OSU again with an absolute horrible OC but a game that WE lost, not a game that OSU won. Now people think that a ND team that is more developed in every fascet maybe except o-line but especially on defense, that it's going to be close to an inconsistent TAM? Not to mention, we now have one of the better OC in college football and TAM has a first year HC. Sorry guys but we are going to wear them down. It's going to be 35-10 going into the 4th and ND is slowly going to let off the gas and it will ultimately be a final score of 42-20 with TAM scoring 10 points in the 4th quarter only because ND put in 2nd and 3rd string guys. Or, if Freeman wants to flex we could go from 35-10 going into the 4th and end up with a 49-10/13 dominant performance by keeping in his first team guys which is EXACTLY what he should do week 1 to set the tone on a top 25 team for the season opener.
