u usually get flat when the floor is wet specially if its raining or snowing and slick tires or small tires are prone to flats so always ride safe man

You should maybe give a try to those puncture-protection stripes that go between tire and inner tube. They're not perfect but better than nothing, I'm using them on WTB thickslick for a few years and the only flat was from a cheap crap inner tube falling apart by itself.
